Faten ............. The Legend
There is nothing more difficult rather the finding
about a legend because the legend drawn in memory …
and deeply in the heart. …With letters as effective
as the inscription on rocks… it is so difficult to
remove, and so dangerous to ignore. The legend spread
around her golden clouds with scarce stones and full
of wild perfumes with specific charm…. so the human has no power to resists
the charm powers that forbid them from being in control of their judgments.
And for anyone goes to this magical temple has no choice but to respond and
agrees to this mysterious legend and her beauty and leave his sole to swim
in this fall of feelings, dreams and judgment without hearing any other
calls coming from the shores.
If the word is correct that Um Kalthoum, Abdel Wahab and Abdel-Halim were
successful in becoming legends through their long distinguished
achievements. They were followed with all people through their entire life
for the musical world, then the only legend that could be added to them
with same comparison for the acting category is FATEN HAMAMA.
FATEN HAMAMA stood before these golden mirrors that contains from different
mirrors with all different shapes and sizes. Those mirrors reflect
different faces and different personalities for any one stands in the
middle. She has stood with Pride and Honor and left all those mirrors to
reflect different faces that looks alike and sometimes they looks the
opposite …
That was similar for many features ……for another legend but in united
States of America she was (Greta Grabo) … Faten performed the leading role
in movie “ Nahr El Hob aka the River of Love “ which was the same story of
Greta Grabo Anna Karenina; the film that made us always remembered them
together and forever.
Greta worked with different directors, they had their ways with different
feelings and visions, but with all their differences she was able to remain
Greta Garbou, weather she plays the lover with Clarence Brown or the
unfaithful women with George Kecker or the communist with Ernst Lubitsch or
the queen with pride with Rouben Mamoulian. She was able to control all of
those directors she worked with, although she was under their guidance.
That exactly what FATEN HAMAMA has accomplished even though it was very
difficult and sometimes could be considered impossible. Faten worked with
all directors, including the pioneer ones, the young and the old. She was
able to balance between her school of acting that was created by all her
feelings, her sole, her heart and her special taste and between all those
directors, that every one of them usually insists to have his own limits
and always try to protect their visions for the world and engineer every
worker through their own ways.
